The School of Foreign Languages Board convened on 14.04.2020 and made the following decisions regarding planning the distance learning end of term evaluation. At the end of the SPRING semester of 2019-2020 academic year, it has been decided to conduct an online End of Term Assignment, and also to submit the Writing portfolio assignments and the Speaking project as a video recording method. Detailed information about the End of Term assignments is stated below.

End of Term Assignment
- End of Term Assignment will be held online on May 18-22, 2020, on oys.hku.edu.tr
- Each student can take the online session 2 times within the stated dates, and the one with higher scores will be accepted.
- 1. Online End of Term Assignment: 18-20 May 2020
- 2. Online End of Term Assignment: 21-22 May 2020
- You can log into oys.hku.edu.tr using your OBS/SRS account information.
- The content of the assignment will consist of reading skills, grammar and vocabulary.
- The exam result will effect 50% of the passing grade.

Writing Portfolio Assignment
- Students are required to write 3 Writing Portfolios.
- The due date for Writing Portfolio submission on oys.hku.edu.tr for all students is 15 May 2020.
- To submit your portfolio, you can log into oys.hku.edu.tr using your OBS/SRS account information.
- Writing portfolio assignment will effect 25% of the total passing grade.

Speaking Project Assignment
- All students are required to video record 1 Speaking Project.
- The recordings shorter than 2 minutes will not be evaluated (at least 2 minutes long).
- The due date for video submission on oys.hku.edu.tr is 15 May 2020.
- To submit your Speaking Project, you can log into oys.hku.edu.tr using your OBS/SRS account information.
- Speaking Project assignment will effect 25% of the total passing grade.
