Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU), School of Foreign Languages (SFL) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Unit held a new workshop entitled “Creating Our Own Lesson Planner System”. To get the most out of the class time, the workshop aimed to demonstrate how to create effective and practical lesson plans considering educational objectives of the institution and learners’ goals and their abilities in EFL.
Specifically focusing on grammar parts, the lecturers at SFL prepared and presented the lesson plans for different units of the course book considering the Presentation, Practice and Production (PPP) lesson planning model within an inductive and deductive approach.
Head of SFL Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Unit Inst. Baraa SABE stated that more in-service events are planned for the following weeks to enhance the effectiveness of the classroom practices through applying the activities smoothly.
